My name is Ralph Hassenpflug. I am a Registered Maine Guide.
I live on a small farm in Maine with my family.

Decades of hiking and camping experience in Europe, Scandinavia and North Africa and my sea voyages on sailboats have prepared me well for the experience of the Maine Wilderness. Today, I find the backcountry of Maine and the multitude of its mountains, rivers, lakes and ponds so inspiring, that I will dedicate the upcoming years entirely to introducing my guests to the beauty of the Dawnland.
I have worked extensively with children and adults of all ages and abilities and enjoy sharing my knowledge and love of all aspects of living and traveling in the wilderness.
